I am pretty much like you Swetha, but I am learning that sometimes I am important too and my feelings do actually count, it's pointless
being miserable or walking around avoiding things all the time. The stiff upper lip of us Brits can sometimes mean we are just plain miserable becasue we don't complain or stand up for our rights or whatever.
So many times I have had a bad meal and yet when the waitress comes over smiling saying "is everything alright?" I nod and say yes lovely thanks.
I did complain once, and was amazed at the fantastic reception I got, the chef even came over and apologised saying he was rushed and knew my steak was burnt and that he would re-cook my meal and my husbands so they were both hot for us, the chef got a big tip and we went home shaking like a leaf and so nervous we hardly ate anything lol!
its far too easy to shrug off and take the easy way out and turn our backs when really we can all make a difference. Now I'm not advocating we all complain like crazy but sometimes we do need to draw the line or get the mickey taken out of us?
