when I travel inside my own mind I am always alone.
the only inhabitants of my imagination are manequinns and life sized dolls.
there are powers, symbols, situations and artifacts but the being in control is myself.
if and when I hear voices they are outside of my mind not from within.
when I dream of waking reality its as if I am a disembodied spirit watching as things unfold.
I am 99% of the time never looking through anyone elses eyes but my own.
people tell me about their dreams and they are usually in the dream itself I never am.
if I am in the dream I am alone observing dolls or motionless people, like I am moving much faster than anyone else.
is this normal?
every now and then I catch the thought running through my mind there is no room in here for me and thee.
but I am really not that disturbed by this except it seems a bit odd when I listen to other people tell me about their dreams and mind.

Perhaps we should all consider ourselves unique in all things.  Your dreams are symbols that you understand, just as others have symbols they understand.  The symbols are used to understand your own unresolved emotions, so they have to be understood by yourself.  Everyone dreams differently, because it is about the mind of each of us finding our way in a unique world.
