To me sunsigns is a place for mature discussion.. and yet some of the groups that are coming in are very young...
I find it strange that these youngens are here and have time to think so much on a topic ... yes maybe in India its norm but in USA it is not!  

I come here to have a mature conversation... and to be honest a child posting about war is strange to me! that is a parental debate not a forum debate!

How do others feel? Should there be a age limit? and what should the age be?   I just have some inside feeling on this ...and youngens on a site is usually followed by the idots who want to let them trust them! KWIM? The children are looking for guidance... and sometimes that is taken advantage of! I dont want to see this happen! Maybe I am over reacting!

I do not want to be a trouble maker just throwing my feelings out.   I have a gut feeling about this and its not good!

you are just over reacting! this is open forum... and its better that kids are here then on some god foresaken p**n site. plus dont forget this how you or i learnt... we just dont grow up in one day and we dont learn everything in one day. the younger people bring up issues we supposedly grown up dont want to face... and that should be considered a plus point. they are the ones who add just a little bit of twist to the board that sometimes brings on a smile and sometimes frown on your face. *NO* family is compalte with children.

But don't forget, posting your age/birthday in your profile is only voluntary and who knows what age members really are; its just a number each person inserts in that category; there's no way of proving what any member claims his/her age is.  Same situation as the age/personal details on those dating sites.
I tend to rely on people's honesty.

For the record, I'm turning 63 this year.....hope I'm not too old for this board!....but I don't see the point in lying about my age.

No one is too old or too young to be here. But i think 13 is a good age to be here, that is the age when the brain starts to grow.

I don't know where you are in the US but for me I was taught much of what I know at a very early age... meaning as far back as I can remember.  Astrology, numerology, reflexology, etc was all a part of how I was brought up.  Herbs and oils were used on a regular basis in my household.  To this day I mix a mean tea with things grown in my garden that have been passed down through the years.

I am under the impression that "star children" are growing in number as we speak.  With the coming of the end of the Mayan calendar (2012) more and more younger children will have knowledge and abilities we older ones can only dream of.

While I understand the concern for conversation and little ears, I have to wonder if it's something that shouldn't be spoken about in general.  Kids don't become "warped" until adults force their issues on them -- meaning children are pure until told differently.  Maybe some younger minds are just what we need as a reminder that at one time our lives were much simpler than they are now, and it's not so bad to see things though younger eyes.

If I can help shape a younger mind with the knowledge I have I am more than happy to try.  One of the reasons I started the enchanted board was to share knowledge -- a place to help each other out - any conversation there is presented in general terms and suitable for all to read.  If it's a major personal issue it's either done in PM's or on a locked part of the board so that younger people can't view it.  Maybe that's something that could be considered here as well?
