I am interested in everyone's opinion on this. There is a ton of hype surrounding this.

as following the news, I can tell you that this is really not being taken seriously or as a top-priority since it has yet to be shown to have mutated to a human to human mutation. Yet I am somewhat of a believer, that by the time that we as the general public have news announced to us, whatever is being announced is typically known well before hand.

It almost seems as if it may have already been known to mutate, and is being kept "quiet" and this is the way to prepare the world before hand, before announcing that it's happening.

Not to sound like some of the TT's here in the forum who have predicted mass casualties from this, but I found this latest report from CNN somewhat disturbing. It seems that they have definite certainty that this WILL in fact mutate itself to us. Please comment.

it was supposed to have affected in India too... i dont think people died... but there was so much hype for a week.. and now everything is forgotten!

It's still quite big over here, apparently it's spreading through Europe and may hit England.

ya i read about it.. the stage has reached here, that the farms have been affected by disease other than bird flu.but was mistaken for it..and the poor owners having to bear huge losses are committing suicide:(

Oh that's terrible, the culling hasn't started here yet, but we had the mad cows disease about 10 years ago and it was aweful, I live in the country and you could smell the cattle burning :(
