what he says is absolutely true, though, not quite relevant. love cannot feed you or lull you to sleep. you cannot expect love to do everything for you.  

there can be no balance between love and respect. respect is a part of love. if your love is real, you do not really have to think about respect. it's already there.

there's a concept that love cannot happen between two people if they have an arranged marriage. i'd like to say something abt it. I had an arranged marriage. and the man i am married to, turned out to be the man i always wanted to be with. we only know each other for the last  6 months. but it seems that we have known each other for decades. that's because the kind of wavelength i have is completely in sync with the kind of wavelength my husband has got. never for a moment we feel that we've been forced into marriage by our parents. his parents treat me like their own daughter. whenever they come to our place, we cook, we shop, we drive, we watch movies - we do everything together. and we have loads of fun. i never feel i'm away from my parents. i don't even miss my home. my in-laws have given me complete freedom. that means, they have given me the right to eat anything i want, wear anything i want, in fact, do whatever i want at my place. tell, me, which girl can say that her in-laws cuddle her in their laps? but i can say that. i am very happy after marriage. my husband and i are madly in love with each other and we've never felt so contended before. i can proudly say that i have a perfect life now and a perfect family. to me, arranged marriage has worked better than any love marriage anyone has ever had.

Let me frank, I have never supported the idea of an arranged marriage and I guess that is the reason  I started this thread. In fact I think I started it after I saw a friend get into a bad arranged marriage with no understanding and love in the marriage. If it has to happen it can even in a love marriage )
