If it is a sign (and it is, because you already treat it as such) it could be anything, really, such as:

A sign that long distance relationships are silly and that if you are going to be together then you shouldn't need to drive to one another.

Or that your relationship will quite simply have challenges.

So here's a question; assuming you've had previous romantic relationships - is he like the others you are typically attracted to?

And if not, have you consciously (or subconsciosly, if you are aware of it) redefined your ideal partner?

There's no such thing as coincidence, everything is connected, separation is an illusion. You met through the computer, electricity is a disharmonious frequency and power lines are vibrational pollution that make it harder to be psychic and function in a natural way. If you have been caught up in the electrical world then destiny is not going to leave you behind and will still look for ways to bring you along. So it could be natural just through the net as it was the best that could be done in the situation. Hardship can bring people closer together so it could be exactly what you need. It's been technology that has been harmed mostly, and that is the universe doing you a favor by goading you into a better reality. Turn it into a blessing by learning form it and making appropriate changes in your life and the way you live as you feel led to by spirit which connects all things. What matters that you as people bring value into each others lives. Consider what value is. It's more then things that you've paid money for or can pay money for. Could be lessons in caring less about superfluous material things and more about quality of life. Like when you go through all those things, then when you do spend time together you truly appreciate it and know what it's worth.

Since it is fated that two of you chatted with each other & felt the connection in the 1st place. The rest are just challenges that let both of you to overcome & strengthen your relationship. I will say, GO FOR IT.
