hey I am going to get a snake for my birthday in 15 days and my mum doesn't want me to get one over 5 feet because her boyfriend scot is afraid of them... I found a few that were 3 feet at max but read up on them and they were aggresive... my mum thinks I should go with a boa but has nothing against a royal python which she is thinking might be best... so I am bassically asking if any one knows of a low tempered small snake preferablt a boa or python... all the others kinda think your a toilet and leave presents on ya... and if you live in the U.S. do you know of any good stores?? I went up to the petco today and the tanks were extremely clean (trust me thats bad) and the snakes were in there defensive balls and the guy had said that the heater had broken... so I think they might have been sick... they weren't very active even for thier breed... I want a healthy snake that I can handle.... not one that will die on me a week later.... any info you have is very much appreciated ^.^ thank you ^.^

Oh! I have a hamster and one night I woke up screaming because he evaded and somehow managed to get in my bed.
He was trying to make himself confortable in my hair I guess.
I was so scared that I moved him in another room since then.
I can't imagine what would happend if I had a snake instead ! I could get a heart attack
