MA you bring up an interesting point. Black magic is a low vibrational magic. And it affects the primitive part of the brain. If one is by nature a high vibrational up beat person then black magic might slow them down abit but that is about all. And your yogic breathing stimulates the frontal lobes of the brain. The modern part of the brain and also keeps one's energy levels up. This offsets the low vibrational effects of black magic on the primitive brain.

I incountered a voo doo fellow one time and I was a sceptic. The next thing I knew was I had the seven dooms laid on me. All seven chakras were shut down and I lost all will to live. I had to go to the Divine to solve it. He just took over the primative part of my brain and shut down my body and my will to live. What was funny was that he was being gentle just to prove a point. So anyway I stay as far away from those people as I can. And if I do incounter one I never upset them and just quietly back off.

There isn't a problem with deciding whether destiny is real or not, the problem we have to content with, is our concept of time. If you remove the concept of time, then destiny is a predetermined set of circumstances which are unchangeable and we see it in action in all aspects of our lives. When you bring in the concept of time, the longer that concept is, the less chance of it's destiny being fulfilled.

Our languages are concepts and vary, so we use semantic understanding to determine the conceptual destiny of our words and on lots of occasions, they have a destiny we didn't contemplate. So destiny does exist, yet it doesn't.

sun, just to straighten things out - my view is destiny does not exist but and here's the tricky bit: the choices I've made I made in the belief that I could have gone a number of other ways but did I?
Was my choice predestined?
Who knows.
It's one of those meaningless discussions - Scottish Law has 3 possible outcomes to a trial, guiltly, not guilty and unproven and I think this whole thing is unprovable by either side.
