I know just about nothing about it, but what I heard was that the distribution might be just a little, um unequal if it's controlled solely by the Myanmar government--with more supplies and help going to people who support the government than to those who oppose it. I guess that's why the U.N. insists on doing the distribution of what it brings in on its own.

I heard a headline that the UN supplies have been taken and the people aren't getting it. The UN may be withdrawing. I hope it was a mistake.

I heard that many of the survivors are heading to the borders in any way that they can to try and get out. The UN has rules set up to help people in this situation, and if it doesn't get better soon (i.e. distribution and such) They can go in back by troops and such to help the people. It is something that they rarely do, but I heard that George Bush has set aside troops to help if need be.
