Hi all,

I'm just recovering for a though break-up and even if I have had quite positive readings of my near future by eye of the tiger and psychic chef I have also analyzed how things happened before the break-up and I have started to believe that maybe it was meant to happen one way or another.
I mean we had avoided real break-ups during the 2 years of relationship but we also had a big warning last summer and when things seemed to be going well, everything kind of aligned for us to break-up, first as a couple, later as friends, the thing is I'm starting to think that no matter what I had done eventually we would had ended breaking up one way or another.

This takes me to the question of the post:

Are there things in our lives that no matter how hard we try, we just won't be able to change?
Do we have some limited options of changing our future but not the whole of it (jobs, relationships, accidents, etc)?

What do you think?

Great question! I am still very sorry for your heartache, but you've already heard my input on all of that...

As far as this post goes, I do believe in our own free will. It's the most priceless possession. You have control over what you say and do, but if two people just aren't compatible, no matter what you say or do, you just can't change that. So in that sense, yes it is fated one way or the other. But it's nothing you DID or DIDN'T do... so long as you're both honest with eachother and yourselves in your actions, the right/healthyiest/greater good outcome will happen. When there are lies and conflict, no good healthy relationship can result.

Keep thinking positively. You'll do just fine.

In the world of darkness, only chaos and confusion while a little old man wrapped in his blanket, beheld the oneness of it all. No accidents, no coincidences and no miracles. Not even a dust particle falls without divine providence. How else can our eye's be open to the oneness of it all if we refute predestination?

There is a balance in nature (and we are human nature) between destiny and determinism.  We can and do create and change our future all the time.  We sow seeds (thoughts) in our fertile garden (life) then nurture, water and fertilize it til lo and behold we manifest a blossom (our own good/prosperity).  

Not every thought blossoms and certainly not as we would want in our lives.  So perhaps the universe (God) is creating challenges  that come as destiny.  While I do not believe we created our lives before we are born (that would preclude any need to live them if the results were predetermined) I do believe the hows and whyfors of our lives are under our creative control.

First of all, Happy birthday!

Thank you for all your advices and your support, they are really helping.I guess in my relationship were a little bit of all: lies, bad decisions and fate but well, that's life and I don't gain anything dwelling into it, I just have to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them again.

Like you say is better to think about the future and be positive.

I don't know if I understood you well but in case that is what you are suggesting, I'm not thinking in living alone not taking risks like that old man wrapped in his blanket, I have survived some near death experiences so far and sadly they haven't given me more wishes to live than what I had before them, it has been this break-up the one that has showed me that sometimes if you don't do everything that you can to keep the most important thing you have alive it won't last long, of course maybe we were destined to break up but that doesn't change the fact I took some bad decisions in key moments.

Now I fear death less and less every time so I find it quite liberating for doing whatever I want, I mean risking more and that stuff, not caring too much about "what they say" and that kind of nothings. That's the good thing when you have nothing to lose ;)
