I have difficulty understanding the concept that we create our own reality. It would seem to me that if others exist and they have free will they also create they own realities. Yet when I go to the coffee shop and other people are there it would seem that there exist a reality consistent with what is there. For example, 10 customers, five tables, etc.

Someone got some insights into this?

Thoughts are things.  But like all seeds we plant, it takes a season to manifest the reality.  Is it as simple as saying 'I want' and it happening?  Not in my experience!  But when we nurture our thoughts and fertilize them with adversity, they do tend to manifest.

Life is all about energies - yours, mine, everyones.  So yes, there is some working with the energies that needs to take place.  It would seem that we can simplify the message and not get the job done.  Yes, you can create your reality - within the limits of life's happenings.

Will negative thoughts effect the reality that we *wish* we could have? Even if it's only a thought, not an action, will it effect our desired reality?

That is the whole problem Fayte, we put out a wish, then what do we do?  We start to put all the fears of what can go wrong into our mind...instead of concentrating on the outcome of good.  Of course, our fears are our own worst enemy in manifesting our wishes.

The law of attraction DVD gave 3 steps:  Ask - this is when we set our wishes.  
Listen - there is a still, small, voice within that tells us steps to accomplishment - if we but listen.
Accept - (this is where fears set in) accept that we are a wonderful child of God and worthy of all good in life.

We see the life around us true the eyes of our ego, this is at the same time colored by our state of mind....our education and understanding of what we are looking at.

Let us take some simple examples.

You see a airplane....you know what it is able to do..you evaluate it as such.
A native are shown the same thing...he has no knowledge...but since it can fly...he evaluate it up against "Big Bird" or a "God" since that is those things he know can fly.


You arrive to a quarrel 2 minutes before the fight...then the fight start.....you evaluate the situation out from what happen those 2 minutes.
The real situation might have developed true years and have colors you never will know.

You look at a dollar bill and see the value

You show it to one that don't use that kind....he looks at the picture and the creation work.

You are in a lousy mood and your friend tells you something that should be funny.....you only see the stupid in it
You are in good mood and your friend tells you the same thing....you laugh like you never have before.

We can go on and on....but this show that our Reality don't need to be the real reality for other persons.
