A Question about Terminology of Divination

Hello all!

Not long ago I tried to find some terms, and didn't succeed. Concerning Western astrology, we know that there are some types of charts, like

- natal chart - made on the moment of birth (mostly human, but everything in greater sense);
- horary chart - made on the moment of an event (if I remember correctly);
- synastric chart - made for a prognosis of relations.

But it belongs to astrology and is bound to calendar and planetary cycles.

Now it is interesting to me to find terms for I Ching divination, which may not be bound to calendar. Yes, there are calendar methods in I Ching - calculating a hexagram using numbers of year, month, day and hour - but they form one class only. "Motor" methods are more popular - casting coins or yarrow-stalks. But I want to emphasize the goal of a particular divination, and now I see two unique classes for divinations by I Ching, or Tarot (or even coffee ground):

1) divination to answer a question - here we know a problem and seek information about it;

2) divination for some period (day, week, month) - we want to see what problems we'll meet on it.

How do you call these types by one word each? I myself do not know neither Greek nor Latin...

Well, for the second item, I was offered "interval". A good term, as I see (and I don't see other good variants).

But with the first... Nothing so far.
