I think that it is funny how so many people are trying to find the same peace and serinity through some sort of religion but how do you choose? Many people would tell you that christians are the only true holy people and everyone else must be Evil, or better yet Satanic. The problem with this is there are about 400,000 different type of Christians and just as many deniminations within them. Some would say that Catholics is the choice religion, again they are talking about the same God but in a different way. You also have the Mormones, Now I do not know a whole lot about them but again it is just a different way to give reverience to the same thing. Then you got The Old religion or paganism. Now this is a little bit different. Depending on the point of view of the person you are talking to, you are still giving reverence to a supreme divine force, just in different aspects and these aspects are refered to as gods. Even though there are many gods, they are all a part of the single supreme Diety.
Now there are still about 400,000 different types of pagans with just as many denominations as well. Where do you determine who is actually right, or which path to take.
The Bible say the straight ande narrow road is the way to go, but then again in every religion in every culture has something that goes along that same rules. Do what thou want, an let it harm none. Wiccan Rede.
I dont know but to me this is real close to the bible version of the straight and narrow. And almost identicle to Bible verse. "Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you." Now I am not trying to offend anyone but I would like some Honest opinions and feedback on what you think.

I think we can agree on this Steve
I am also a strong believer that all religons are praying to the same source, our creator.
What most religons want is to make this Creator into a image of the "human", and this is the proof that they all are wrong. Humans are one of the youngest species on earth and are a resoult of an evergoing evolution.
We might be the species that have the highest brain, but since we also have the highest greed we might destroy ouerself before the evolution reach the next step.
Most religons show compassion for fellow man.
But strong believers will always think they have the only truth.
Since they belive so, they are just looking for thing that suit and confirm their belief and the rest is discarded.
This way the cruelty and extremistisc attitude arise.
This is why education is so important, if in a area with low education and strong "extremistic" culture are allowed
to stay uneducate, then the exstremist will have a nice green field to harvest.
Well..well better stop
So I respect all religons....but I respect the one who have no religon but only try to do what the religions describe more!

From the Holy Book, The Kasidah, Part IV: All faith is false, all faith is true: Truth is the shattered mirror strewn in myriad bits, while each believes their little bit, the whole to own.
All religions have one thing in common...God! Their descriptions may differ but there is only ONE God! Those that are satisfied in their religious following have found an aspect that makes sense to their seeking spirituality. That is why they stay in community with that particular religion.
At the same time, there can be other factors that actually discourage this same seeker. They overlook much to be in a community of people worshiping God.
Then there are the single minded seekers who find what works for them in natural practices and see God from a more eclectic point of view. They find nature a source of inspiration and growth to their soul. They overlook the aloneness of this journey as they find their answers of God in their way.
All are right! There is no right or wrong journey. There is only seeking from your own heart. Keep your heart and mind in balance and open to learn and grow through this life...because life is about learning and growing.

I was brought up in a Baptist home and went to Sunday School as a child, as I got older I helped out younger classes with lessons. I watched my mother and countless others baptised, understanding only what was happening but not why.
Now in my 39th year, I have committed my heart and soul to no single 'denomination' or faith. I do believe in a higher power, yet, I'm not yet sure I have a clear sense of what/who that may be. I don't think I need to pick a church to believe in God.
We are bombarded with ideas, opinions, politics, education, door-knockers, family, friends, media and much more on the subject of religion. In my opinion, as in politics, why can't everyone just work towards the "best" outcome for humankind and "why can't everybody just get along."
There are too many religions out there for me, and if there is only one God, how can there be sooooooo many ideas? Just too confusing for me.
