Parents give us life...not just support and comfort for us to grow into who we become. That life creates a bond within us whether we want to feel it or not. On the surface of life, they may reject you, they may abuse you, they may be good or bad parents (all according to their own ability to love) but the bottom line is...they are your parents, for good and all.

I think the answer is obvious, if U can't love ur parents, u aren't fit to love anyone. Even if they did something wrong to u.

& u should never feel obligated to take care of them or pay their bills, it should come from within ur heart, & u have to do it willingly, without them asking also. That is true unconditional love that ur parents showed to u, & if u show it back to them, them, u & ur future generations will all be happy.

& yes Karma Theory does apply here.

If my parents were still alive today I would help them in anyway that I could, because they were my parents not just someone off the street.
