A devotee can become God, but...
In the first level of ignorance, the soul derives happiness only from happy situations which are like sweets. In the second level of realization, the soul derives happiness both from happy and unhappy situations, which are like sweets and hots in the meals. In the final level of the state of God, if the soul derives continuous happiness from hots only, such a soul has become almost God (Mama Sadharmyamagatah – Gita). Such a soul is almost equal to God. Such a devotee also attracts the sins of deserving devotees and makes them happy. Such an attraction of sins is always a secret because the deserving devotee will never agree to such transfer of sins.
A devotee who had reached this highest level came to see Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, who was suffering with cancer. The devotee sat near Sri Paramahamsa and was trying to attract the cancer onto him. Sri Paramahamsa, who was the human incarnation immediately recognized this and pushed the devotee away from Him. Therefore, the devotee can attain all the powers of God and the divine nature of God, which consists of continuous sacrifice for the sake of devotees. Then, why not the devotee, be called as God in full sense? Except one point, the devotee can become God in all aspects and that one point is the creation, maintenance and destruction of this universe.
You are immediately misunderstanding God through various doubts. Perhaps God does not want anyone to become equal to Him and therefore, is not granting this special power. You are mistaking God due to the ignorance of truth and lack of analysis on this point. God is ready to give this power to any soul. The creation, maintenance and destruction of the world is a big responsibility. Who will not sacrifice the responsibility? One may hesitate to sacrifice the fruit of work but not the responsibility and work. The work and responsibility are headache only. If you analyze, you will clearly understand that it is impossible to transfer this responsibility to any soul. The soul is made of awareness, which is basically the primal energy. The creation starts with the creation of this primary energy (Mula Maya). Before the creation of this primary energy, this primary energy cannot exist. When the primary energy does not exist, the soul (awareness) which is a form of this primary energy also cannot exist. Then, how can the soul create this primary energy?
If the soul created this primary energy, then what is the material of the soul? The material cannot be awareness because awareness is a modification of the primary energy only. If the food is not given to a person, the supply of energy stops. The person becomes unconscious, where the awareness disappears as in the deep sleep. The stored energy in the body in its basic form of inert energy maintains the heat of the body for sometime. This is a clear proof of the concept that awareness is a modification of the inert energy only. Therefore, it is impossible to make any soul creator and therefore this point always differentiates God from any soul. Due to such impossibility only, God is not giving this power to any soul. Even if there is a trace of possibility, God is the happiest to get rid of this headache and responsibility.

is seeking Happiness. To do this, we must find the happiness in all circumstances of life. We can only find happiness when we seek the highest of love...Divine Love...from God to all His creation...humanity.
A fortune cookie wisdom...For every sorrow, there are a thousand joys!
In this is our motivation to happiness and joy in life and living. Everyone we meet and greet in life has a reason for entering our life. What we learn and accept from any contact is a measure of our own ability to be seeking happiness in life.

spiritalk;
Knowledge is like sitting in your house without happiness or worry. Devotion is like travelling to the Lord by bus or train, which gives you happiness only. But service with sacrifice (Karma Yoga) is like travelling by aeroplane to the Lord, which involves full worry and misery only. To reach the Lord, only aeroplane is effective and therefore you hear that a divine aeroplane came down to take a devotee. A bus or train does not come down from heaven. The path is full with thorns. After reaching the goal also, you have to sit on the thorny thrown with thorny crown only. Lord Datta is said to be the ocean of bliss. This means that He is not enjoying the bliss but He makes His devotees to enjoy the bliss as said by Veda (Eshahyeva Anandayati…). The Lord transfers the evil effects of His devotees on to Him and always suffers. By this the devotees are blissful. Therefore, the path and goal are full of misery only and not the bliss.
The spiritual aspirant must always invite troubles and misery in his life, which are the real friends to give the advanced training. But if you analyse carefully, such misery gives you the real eternal bliss. This bliss is eternal because it is associated with misery and is not affected by misery. Thus, the real eternal bliss comes only through the misery in the sacrifice. The bliss that comes in the happiness of selfishness is always temporary. It disappears when the misery attacks it. Therefore, you must try to derive the internal bliss through the misery obtained in the sacrifice. Misery also comes by sins but such misery will not give the eternal bliss.
Therefore, you should try to attain the eternal bliss by sacrificing every thing and every body in this world for the sake of the Lord in human form. Lakshmana, Bharatha, Hanuman etc. did the same. Even Jesus says that unless one sacrifices all the bonds and even is prepared to sacrifice the life by carrying his own cross for the sake of the Lord, He is not pleased with such disciple. The bliss rising from misery and associated with misery can never be effected by misery and therefore remains eternal. A person who is grown up by the poison only as the food cannot be effected by the bite of a serpent.

When God is human, he loses his status of eternal, central source of all light and love, for the sake of a human body. What a waste of time! All lessons we learn as human beings are to grow to that source and yet, we want to accept a human God? No thanks!

Human being and Lord in human form
There is a difference between God in human form and a human being posing as God. To differentiate between both, analysis is essential like in the separation of the original diamond from an artificial diamond. Once you select the original diamond, there is no need of further analysis and you can kiss and love the diamond. Krishna was God in human form and Paundraka Vasudeva was a human being posing as God. Krishna told the Bhagavad Gita and the latter could not preach any knowledge. Except for this difference, the external dress and performing miracles were common in both. The priests of Jerusalem believed in the dead messengers of the past and did not believe the living messenger (Jesus).
Jesus said, “Let the dead bury dead”. This means the priests were dead because they always lived in the past and never in the present. Those who live in past are dead and those who live in the present are alive. This means that the dead priests will attend to the dead messengers and the living disciples will attend to the present living messenger. When Jesus told His disciples that He would come again, it means that the human incarnation will come again for every future generation. Therefore, Christianity believes in the human incarnation that comes every time as in Hinduism. There is no difference between the two philosophies. The human incarnations of all the religions always tell the same point.
The followers do not take the right interpretation and mock at the other religion. Christians criticize Krishna and Mohammed for killing the evil people. They say that Jesus changed all the evil people only through love. Then why did people crucify Him? Why did they not change by His love? Why does Christianity suggest permanent hell for sinners after the enquiry? If love can change everybody, there should not be a hell at all! Jesus said that it is better to punish yourself instead of falling into hell permanently. Therefore, he was indicating the punishment and hell. He was never against the punishment of evil people.
The L.K.G. (lower kindergarten) students cannot be controlled by words like college students. They need a strong cane for discipline. The followers always misinterpret their original preachers. Krishna tried His best to change the Kauravas but after all His efforts failed, only as a last resort, He punished them. Similarly, Mohammed fought as a last resort only. In fact Mohammed was the incarnation ‘Kalki’ who killed evil people with a sword, riding on the horse. Krishna is Buddha while preaching the Gita. He was Jesus when He showed kindness on Sudama and Draupadi. He was Mohammad in killing the demons. For protecting the good people (Pandavas) and for punishing Kauravas, Krishna was cursed by Gandhari because of that; He died by the arrow shot on His foot.
This was His crucifixion for the sake of good people like Pandavas. Both Jesus and Krishna died shedding their blood. He took the punishment on Him to protect the real devotees like Pandavas. Krishna and Jesus were born in similar situations. Devilish people killed the children born on their birth dates. Krishna left Brindavanam when He was 16 years old which is also similar to Jesus. Krishna met the Gopikas again on the seashore when He was 30 years old. Similarly Jesus returned to home at the same age. Jesus quoted several scriptures of Hinduism, which were filtered out from the Bible.
