Hi,
The picture in the deck looks very like red jasper with veins of grey jasper running through it. Silex is taken from Silicon and jaspers are basically SiO2 so Silcon dioxides. Usually Silex is another name for flint but the picture in the deck is confusing!

hmmmmmmmm.........yes someone mentioned silex is flint but if so why not say flint!? Never even thought of jasper...usually not a stone/crystal I work with.
