For me, the date picks me. For sure, I won't know what to do until the time is right. OR, I might know what I want to find but I won't find it until the time is right.
I wanted to find some juniper incense and couldn't find it anywhere. I looked for a couple of weeks. Suddenly, I realized that I have 4 junipers on my land. So, I went out and cut some. Now, they have to dry properly. When they're ready, I think it's time to burn them and that the time will be right.
I think it's that way with a lot of things. I had been keeping my eye out for a good place to move into. Not really all that focused, or anything. I was just being open to a new place, if it came up. I told a few friends, "If you hear of anything that's sort of rural, maybe with a bit of land, let me know. I'm not in a hurry, but wouldn't mind getting out of the suburbs and into something more peaceful." I looked at a few places - either too run down or too expensive or just not feeling right for me. This place came along totally as a fluke. The minute I entered the driveway, I knew I was home.
Mostly, the land calls you. I think so, anyway.

I tried to do the majority of our house cleaning during the week before Chinese New Year. According to BaZi, Feb 4 and 6 were very auspicious days for me so I placed what few items I had on those days. It was a busy time at work so I was limited on time. Also being I'm here in Chicago area where the temp is 20 degrees I couldn't do any space clearing and opening of doors and windows. I was going to do this later on a very auspicious day in March or April.
