Cud anyone plz tell me what are the Feng Shui Lo shu Numbers?

What do these numbers indicate?

Are the lo shu numbers and the kua numbers different?

lo shu (Luo Shu) number is
4 9 2
3 5 7
8 1 6
1 = north direction , 9 = south direction , 3 = east direction , 7 = west direction

Luo shu come from ancient chinese philosopher record seen on turtle roof.


Kua number is different from luo shu number.
We calculate from birth year ( male / female ).

How does Lo Shu differ from the kua number?? And how does that tie in with Feng Shui??

The Lo Shu numbers and the 9 Grids are the original form of calculation for Feng Shu

Based on Early Heaven Arragement, the Trigram positions are
9 = Chien, 4 = Tui, 3 = Li, 8 = Chen, 2 = Sun, 7 = Kan, 6 = Ken, 1 = Kun  

and we derive the Hetu elements as
1, 6 = Water
2, 7 = Fire,
3, 8 = Wood
4, 9 = Metal
5     = Earth

Based in the Later Heaven Arragement, the Trigram fly to their new position

SE          S               SW
    Sun   Li      Kun
E   Chen         Tui      W
    Ken   Kan  Chien
NE          N                NW

but maintain the original Lo Shu numbers. With this all Flying Star numbers are derived from the sitting and facing directions of the respective houses and their numbers fly in the same sequence as the original lo shu sequence either in forward or reverse count based on the Yin or Yang of the sitting star.

Personal Kua Numbers (Male) are derived from the Annual Star numbers. 2008 FS = 1 = Kan Kua, 2009 FS = 9 = Li Kua in reverse count. With this info, you can tell that in 2008, all Hetu-7 (EHA) are strong, meaning certain sectors in 8 Mansion will have stronger energy either good or bad depending on their House Kua.
