The strife within the family is presently on the increase because of the absence of family control. No one wants to be lectured by anybody else. The younger generation wants to be seprated from the family immediately after they start earning.

The main reason is absence of unity(ref: Family Unity) among the members. Family members should develop strong faith in each other and should be aware of their duties to other members.

But sometimes parents are unruly and they don't perform their duty towards family properly.

Plus families are not the same any more. People here don't have large families and certainly no extended families. So there is no bond due to lack of family. One other thing Duty, children have rights now and that includes the right to go off at the age of 18 and the right not to be saddled with the care of their aging parents especially as they will be much older too. Modern day parents continue working till 65 or 70 so there is no grannies and grandads at home looking after their grand children.
