Tonight I thought I'd pull up Barack Obama's and John McCain's birth charts, and see who would win the election. With astrology, I thought it would be easy just to take a look. Whoops! Not so easy!
I used the natal information posted at
"http://www.astrologyweekly.com/data-archive/us-presidential-candidates-2008.php"
When I did daily transits for each candidate, there is no clear winner that I could see in their daily transits. Both men will experience intense emotions near midnight on election day into November 5th.
Obama is under a Sun square Sun transit. This is a time when all his past actions come into review. (I always got into trouble with a boss at work under this transit, to give you an idea of the energy here).
McCain will be under a Sun square Mars. This is a lot of energy, too, and not an easy transit. Like Obama, this transit affects the ego, the self, and can indicate a great deal of emotion and review of his past.
Obama, looking at mercury transits, which should show his reaction to any kind of election "news" and the kind of "news" given to him, are all quite filled with energy also. Yet, the mercury transits are not 'happy' or 'excited' kinds of energy. Mercury square mercury, and Mercury square Jupiter. There is one pleasant note here with Mercury trine venus.
McCain, looking at his mercury transits, to see his reaction to election news and the kind of news he would get...are mercury square moon, and mercury square pluto. More "hard" transits, without any warm, happy feelings here, either!
McCain, has some of the better transits for the day with Jupiter sextile Saturn and Jupiter trine neptune. Usually, I would take this to show that McCain is the winner, EXCEPT the saturn oppose saturn transit is the kind of a transit that can deny him the very things he wants!
Because of these transits, I am unable to predict a winner without doing progressions or other kinds of charts.
What do YOU think? Who do you predict will win??

I definitely not a seer prognosticator or anything like that. My skills generally lie in detection and elimination of unpleasant spirits. But I'm going to make a prediction anyway:
whoever gets the presidential nomination will be the least qualified to lead the country in this period of crisis.
This crisis is far from over because those people who are behind the scenes controlling it did not wish to be. They are making far too great a product to allow anyone get in their way.
I'm sure some of you will think that this is just tin hat wearing nonsense. But over the years of researching this subject myself, I have come up with more questions than answers to a great number of things.
I'll also make a prediction that there will be some kind of problem in counting the ballots. It will result in a delay of the results broadcast. One or more candidates may contest the results because it's so close.

I think a president's personal "experience" is less important than his/her ability to find good advisors. No new president was ever 100% for the job ahead...how could anyone be 100% ready and prepared for something they've never done before, and only after getting in office could learn all the "classified" information denied him until he got there?

That is my good guess, too. Election night astrology transits for both men do not show either one of them being very happy...with lots of strong emotions and not of the happy emotions that someone would have after winning such a big election! I don't think there will be a winner announced early.
