It doesn't happen often, and it seems to happen in cycles, but sometimes I have dreams about things that will happen. It happened a few months ago--twice within about a week or two. The first dream seemed to be about the bridge that collapsed in Minneapolis (when I had the dream it had already happened, but I hadn't heard about it yet because I was asleep). I keep a journal of these things, so I'm just cutting and pasting here:
I was in a room with a big window that was under a bridge. As I watched, I saw a woman (in a very nice brown leather outfit, for some reason!) jump off of the bridge to the side, and walk away. Then a man (also in brown leather...) did the same thing. A few seconds later the bridge started to kind of undulate. That was it, I think.
When I woke up I looked at the CNN website and saw what had happened.
The second dream was apparently about the mine collapse in Utah:
Yesterday morning I dreamed about seeing a story on the news about a canyon of some sort—possibly the Grand Canyon—over which a plane was flying. At the end of the story the canyon seemed to kind of collapse into itself. I kept looking for something similar on the Non-Dream Network (NDN) news, but there was nothing. I thought I’d better write it out anyway, just in case—like the dream about the bridge, it just seemed too random not to mean something, if that makes any sense.
(Later that same day…)
Well, I just read that a mine collapsed in Utah this morning, following an earthquake. Part of the Grand Canyon, I guess, is in Utah (you’d think I’d know these things for certain, but I’m American). It happened in a canyon in the town of Huntington, which is very close to a place they call “Little Grand Canyon.” WTF? Does that count?
When I saw coverage of the collapse on the news, the way it was shot and the graphics they used looked very much like my dream, too.
Anything else that I know about "in advance" lately I know because my spirit guide warns me (only when it's something important, or potentially dangerous). But that's cheating
