If modern medecine continues with it's extraordinary success rate, there will be so many people on this planet soon, that food will become unbelievably expensive and people will be slaughtering each others pets, poaching zoos, farms, and game reserves, etc. and looting factories, warehouses, and supermarkets, leading to mass extinctions and then mass human starvation which will create an abundance of corpses, which will then foster and spread new diseases at an alarming rate.
There will be wars everywhere for control of the few resources left available.
Our glorious culture and civilization will be reduced to a lost memory as the barbarians then invade the halls of the remaining rich who know not how to fend for themselves.

Definately an interesting prediction. Although I have a hard time believing that with the ability to grow food and produce it ourselves, that anyone would starve.  Meat is a luxury, in my opinion, and many can do without it.  I read sometime ago, on here, that we need to get back to simplicity. Learning to grow our own food and provide sustenance without the need for grocery stores.  Granted, that will be hard for city people and apartment/townhome dwellers, but its not impossible.  We humans are inventive and will survive.  Again, the strongest will survive, but I doubt we'll be slaughtering pets in order to do it.
