Who is to say Jesus is God? Perhaps he is a prophet, but not God himself.

You cant judge, only God can judge. We came her to make our own choices, and to learn lessons throughout our lifetimes. I dont believe that God and Jesus are one, but Jesus was his child as we are all his children. He just had a different journey then us. Im not discounting all his teachings and hardships but we were both made of flesh, and to consider him a God in ur term is mocking what u just said to discount God, and replace him with his child. Anyway i agree about the easter bunny and all that, and i do think spirituality needs to increase even more.

I saw another post from you that said that you are Christian, and have un-Christian-like behavior, or thoughts, if I remember correctly, and want to be a "better Christian". If you are decidedly Christian, which is just fine with me, I'm wondering if your time wouldn't be better spent in trying to re-establish your "connection", so to speak, with your religion, rather than "predicting" the big surprise that comes from people who "hate God"? (I'm a little uncertain of what the big surprise is, but i would assume it the fire pits of hell & damnation, just a wild guess.)

Also, although I haven't yet poured over every word posted on the entire site (give me time), but I have read plenty. I don't remember seeing any language that fits the description of what you've described, as far as non-believers & blasphemizing & hating God & so forth, so I'm just kind of curious as to where this is coming from. Is it something you read here? Or are you speaking of somewhere outside of this forum?

I am also assuming that "the Lord" you speak of is Jesus. My Lord's name is Cernunnos. Just wanted to clarify if you were concerned that the children of the World should learn more about him, which would be quite an interesting prospect indeed, especially coming from a Christian! (P.S. My kids are onto me, they know I'm Santa, Easter Bunny & Tooth Fairy, no matter how I try to convince them otherwise)

Now, I bring all of this up in an attempt to survey my surroundings here on MysticBoard, as I am a "newbie" as well. 99% of what I see is very interesting dialogue between amateurs, professionals, teachers & students. I've seen great advice, discussion, and a great deal of assistance in many areas, and what seems to be very genuine intentions to help & support one another. I am very happy to have stumbled onto this lovely place & look forward to being a part of it! I do have concerns, however, that if there will be any Pagan-bashing, Buddhism-bashing, Muslim-bashing, Christ-based-religion-bashing, or those-who-don't-believe-precisely-as-I-do-bashing, I will quicky take my leave. I can co-exist peacefully with anyone on this beautiful Earth. If you believe the exact opposite of what I believe, it doesn't make a bit of difference. We are all connected, no matter our path. I hope that that is also how you operate.
