There's entire religons that are focused on this, dude. People have known about the One. And it explains a lot.

Have you ever mixed two liquids together, one light colored and with low density, one dark with high density, to the point it seemed like it was 'gray' or 'neutral'? Pretend that is the One, the energy you are talking about.

As time goes by, the liquid will 'unmix' sort of. Basicly go back to being black, or white. That doesn't happen to the One, but it occurs in every thing it encompasses. Of couse, nothing can ever be truly 'white' or truly 'black'. But they can go higher or lower on the 'spectrum'. Things like the Earth are of the 'neutral' spectrum. You know, the 'inadimate' things. (Really, that is a very untrue term. All things have an 'energy' or 'aura' or 'spirit'. In a sense, all things are alive.) Things with a will though, they can differ.

People try all the time to be 'good', but they sometimes mess up because the little, tiny sliver of inherent bad within them. And the little 'voice' people hear, their 'consious', is the bit of good in everyone. Those people that seem to not have a consious, sociopaths, their 'good bit' is so small, they forget how to hear it.

But not all parts of the Duality is about 'good' and 'bad'. There's a whole list. Hot/Cold Up/down left/right true/false male/female light/dark Goddess/God sun/moon day/night. And there is always the middle ground. The neutrality.
