OK...I had the strangest dream last night.  I think it takes the gold for strange dreams I've had.

I started out in Omaha visiting my best friend so we can celebrate New Years.  Someone we both went to college with invited us to a party.  He showed up to talk to us before the party.  Me and him ended up getting in a fight, then made up shortly after.

Then I was in some industrial building.  I was married to someone that was known for making a variety of honeys.  He had several different type of bees, and each made a different tasting one.  One of the people that worked for him had trapped him in one of his chambers and let the bees loose.  He was stung to death.

It was like it switched to an alternate universe b/c this guy that was supposedly my husband was in a field.  He had figured out how to grow rock candy the way you would grapes for wine.  He was using honey to grow them.

It then switched to me wanting to talk with a DA to get help.  I was wanting them to get a warrant for the killers arrest.  They just laughed at me and informed me about how my husband never paid taxes and hid assets.

Then I woke up.  I don't have a husband so that part was weird for me.  Well the whole dream was weird.  Any interpretations would be great because this one has me stumped.

New Year is about starting out again with a clean slate... a new beginnging... or at least the hope for a new fresh start. And you hope to make this new start with the character traits that you admire in your friend. The argument however reveals there is either an inner conflict you try to resolve or a conflict in your waking life. Try to think about the possible personification of whom you were arguing with, or what you were arguing about, and how it coincides with a conflict you have in your waking life. This issue is what makes you desire the clean slate, and is also what seems to prevent it or go against it... however at least in your dream you were able to resolve it.

A marriage is a unification, and in that way in dreams symbolizes how you joined or united traits of the man in the dream with your own more feminine traits. Both the honey and bees could represent good times, or at least seemingly good times, but bees are hard working and therefore industrious, which coincides with your industrial building. So this dream is work and labour related: you've been required to be a busy bee. Honey also suggests dishonest communication (honeying someone up with compliments etc)... as in, you portray yourself as a meek person trying to be sweet to people, even when you feel the opposite. And it's the male traits in you that end up being stung. Have you recently experienced a fight where the words stung you (at work)? The dream suggests this was a very hurtful and vicious attack, so much so that your inner male part seems murdered.

Candy is like honey a sweetener... and in your dream it grows on a rock... the male side of you is trying to grow the nice things in life out of obstacles and problems... that seems a bit of an oxymoron... and you're using honeying attitude to do this.

Finally you are getting truly upset about what happened, feeling a righteous anger and require justice, but the police do not help you, citing your own unrelated mistakes. Not getting the help from police when you want it, indicates that you are not yet in an authoritive situation, not yet acquired the ability to command.

Conclusion: this dream suggests you want to alter things in your life, start afresh. You'e recently experienced hurt and stung feelings over a fight at work, after you worked hard for them and did everything they asked, being meek and sweet. You try to soften true obstacles and turn them from a problem into something sweet in life. And what this dream is trying to tell you is to grow a pair and stand up for yourself more. You are harming yourself by pretending that all will be well when things are not alright at all.

i took a few hours to really think about all of this...the very first part about the new year makes sense for what's going on in my life, but the rest of it doesn't entirely since i haven't had anything come up at work.  i can't think of anything that's really gone on like that recently at all.  the first part is related to something that happened 5 years ago.

If nothing happened recently where you tried to avoid making a ruckus about unfair treatment, even if you were justified, then sorry I couldn't help you with this dream.
