The dream starts with myself, my brother, my father and my sons at an amusement park in the snow.

My brother and I leave my son with my father and go off to go on some rides. My brother and his friend are going on a bob-sled ride, but there is no room for me. I am about to walk down the hill and meet them at the bottom when I come across a sky rail that follows the same path. I get on the sky rail and call out to my brother that I am coming.

But there is something wrong with the (blue) skyrail, it is not turning properly / staying on the track. It is supposed to do this itself but I have to, with great physical effort, lift the skyrail off the track and manually turn it. It is too much work and eventually the skyrail falls off the track and plunges 500 metres to the ground below. As I am falling I lose contact with the sky rail and whilst entering the canopy of pine and spruce trees I manage to grab a branch to stop my fall, a miracle.

I then meet up with my brother and tell the ride operator that the sky rail isn't working properly, but they say its impossible and I am making it up, I couldn't possibly fall that far uninjured. I try to tell them not because I want any compensation but so others aren't hurt but they won't listen, so we go to collect my son and father.

My son is in a play area for kids and at first I am concerned that my father is not there, but then spot him watching him while enjoying a coffee. We leave the amusement park.

On the road home we see a blue zamboni coming the wrong way along the road in my lane. It tries to do a three-point turn but spins 360 instead and keeps coming on. I swerve only slightly to the left but it is enough to knock a fast moving red tractor into the path of the zamboni. The two have a massive accident and the zamboni crushes the red tractor completely killing the driver. I pull over to help however I can, but my father says not to stop because it could be seen as my fault and I may go to jail.

Hmmm... both the car accident as well as the skyrail incident come across to me as a repeat of the same message, in this case a warning that something might go wrong big time.

Vehicles are about the way we're gong through life, the track or road it our liferoad at the moment. The first tracks we come across is not a normal road, but rails and tracks in an amusement park. The amusement park could be seen as you wanting to have a good time, or assuming life is going through an amusement phase. However, the amusement gets busted twice: first you can't join the others who are amusing themselves, and you try to join in the amusement a different route - a route into the sky. However, you're taking a fixed route. While in one way skyrails at amusement parks are indeed joyrides, they lack freedom... the carts are fixed to a fixed track, like a train. When thinking of it in this way, then it seems odd to expect to amuse yourself in life on a fixed track. Amusement needs spontanaity, no? I think the combination of forcing yourself to amuse yourself, specifically along a fixed method is what causes the crash. Also, consider how going into the sky can be a symbol to rising on the spiritual path. And although the spiritual path, such as meditation, can be great fun and you need to follow a set of stepping stones one after the other, it's not a transfixed road either. Like amusement, it needs to allow for spontaneous insights, events and experiences.

The crash theme repeats itself, when you try to wield the steer of your life. Blue and red crash into each other. Blue can point to spiritual learning (again), as well as having the blues (are you getting disheartened?). Red seems a clear warning colour to warn you of coming danger. Weird though that both have such a heavy crash, since they're both slow driving vehicles. Consider this contrast and how it can relate to the already present themes.

Your father in this dream seems to serve for your responsible side: the part of you that wants and needs to watch over your son as well as takes care of yourself, and tries to keep you out of trouble. In any case, something's wrong and with possible painful consequences, although not directly harming you, but at least giving you a scare and making you feel guilty.

Dreams are about our own unresolved emotions from the conscious state.  The symbols are merely there to define the emotions.

It would appear that you are wonder woman with regard to fixing the skyrail and even falling a long distance without injury.  You may be feeling your life is a little out of your control but you are managing to keep things on track for now.  But it requires the wonder woman strength and you feel it is limited.

There is quite a spiritual component to this as it was all happening in the (white) snow.  And it was an amusement park of winter games.  There is a lot of blue going on which is a very inspirational and healing color.  There is a lot of creative inspiration for you to work with in your life - keep it coming.

You may note that the blue Zamboni overcame the red truck.  Perhaps looking up the meanings of these colors for you would help you to understand your life a bit better.  Red is such a high energy color.

The Zamboni accident could be seen as not everything is under your control as much as you would like.  But that is ok too.

Many thanks guys

Disaster averted.  And it didn't take that much effort in the end to shift the monorail.  It was almost a release in not holding back anymore.

I can see potential meaning in the spiritual aspect Spiritalk.  Will ponder on this perspective of my life as well...  Though it is a little bit funny reading this post as I am actually male...  You're not the first person to think that I am a woman.  Complex in development hahahaha.  What is this saying about me?

Cheers,
Rook
