Seems to me you are fighting for something, and the dream is telling you that you have all that it takes to do this. That in part you are trying to win by a bit of deception. You think you want security and comfort, but in fact you need a bit of variety and change. And you are also wise enough to avoid giving in to the lure/temptation, because you know it's not the real thing.

WOW Sweetsunray - you have no idea how close you really are with your first two interpretations. I still don't know if Pisces has anything to do with me because I am not in contact with anyone of that sign other than you as I see, haha... (maybe it's a sign I should consult you more lol), but I have been having relationship issues and I feel like I have lost part of myself. I am working on getting my individuality back as well as the good parts in our relationship. I am trying to see the positive and build on it. Yes I have been drawn between ending the relationship and building it back up. My man is still here with me but we're kinda like roommates right now. Communication has improved, partly because I just can't let it go and partially, I think, because I've made some serious Feng Shui changes in my home, too. I am fighting to get him back and get my life in order. There have been obstacles, especially financial ones that were part of the reason why we kept fighting. They seem to improve, too. My bf doesn't like to see me worry about finances. If I worry and try to keep him from spending money toward his dreams, he withdraws.

The river in the dream was just nearby and looked normal, not particularly murky or clear, kinda in between. I wonder if the tattoo is part of myself, because I am an amateur tattoo artist, too, i.e. I have tattooed myself and one other person, but have not gone into the profession despite good talent as I have been told. The attributes of  Pisces you mentioned fit me, although I am a Scorpio... I must say I can largely identify with an ocean of emotions and all attributes of water, that's me, too, and I actually love that about myself. Water can be gentle, forceful, and sometimes unpredictable. It can conform to a shape, or cook and boil over... it can build itself up to a wave and then come crashing down, it can nurture and give life, but it can also destroy and take it. I am a writer, too *wink* lol

So I had another dream, rather short one, too. I was dreaming of living in some home and I think it had a lot of pale yellow and maybe light green colors. I was dreaming I was taking care of an older dog of mine, who now lives with my Ex. At some point I realized that someone else (in the dream I believe it was a sister and my mother, but I don't have siblings and my mother looks different) was not taking care of her well. I finally realized that my dog would not be alive very much longer and became very sad... that was about it... the feeling of sadness that my dog might pass soon sometimes comes to me in reality, too...

Oh well...
