Just to make an observation...  The house wasn't Underwater, per say...  More half in half out...  like you would expect to see a partially submerged houseboat...  Which is really curious as Ryan and I discussed that exact thing (Living on a houseboat) the last time we were together...  And as I said...  the mood of the dream never changed...  There was no surprise, or fear, or anything like that...  Still happy contentment, but sort of a "Oh...  There's a shark breaking thru the wall..."  And another thing... (My recall seems to be better a couple of days after a particularly vivid dream...)  I don't recall that Ryan OR my children ever knew anything was happening...  Just me...  But all of us were together when the shark was 'defeated' and laying dead at the bottom of the boat...  My oldest son standing to my left, my bigger of my twins holding on to me and peeking around my right leg, me holding my littlest of my twins on my right hip and ryan standing just slightly to my left (behind Rocco, my oldest son) with his hand on my shoulder....  wait a minute...  I think I have that backwards...  I think Rocco was standing to my right with Ryan behind him with his hand on my shoulder, Nicco peeking around my left leg and Vitto on my left hip...  That one is hard, as I wasn't looking out of my eyes...  I was looking AT us from over the shark watching this 'family' (which was all of us) gazing on this dead shark with looks of a curious contentment...  And there wasn't any 'weather'...  No movement of the boat (even tho we were on the water), no sun, no rain, no wind...  More like overcast, but not cold...  Everything about this dream was comfortable and content...

And another thing...  I don't recall the shark being 'large' as one would imagine a Great White Shark to be...  But that was CERTAINLY what it was!  And, I'm sorry to say, I haven't seen any movies recently with sharks in it!  LOL  So I don't know if that changes any of the general impressions you might have or not...  definitely curious!

Love and Happiness to you!

Sincerely,
Cory

PS I'll post more if I have any other recalls...

The house was still flooded I take it? Sometimes you can feel very calm, yet under the surface (even hidden for yourself) feel restless. Perhaps the shark attack never really surprised you, and is what you expect, while feeling secure they won't be able to harm you.

The children's position is alas a bit of overload detail for me... but perhaps you can make more out of it if you look up http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamthemes/bodyparts.htm and whether it was left or right.

I gathered the boat was just stable and floating without movement from your first description, which is why I made the positive image conclusion: calm water, you floating stable on it. That someone is feeling calm does not necessarily mean you will be without emotions regarding this. Perhaps you may end up feeling supported, and having that positive emotion flood your world. So, the seeing of water/emotions does not need to mean you will be "overemotional"... just that it's not a situation that you will look at as an emotionless robot.

Whether you saw a shark in a movie recently or not, does not signify much imo. It might trigger the brain to pick such a symbol over another possibility, but doesn't need to.

Blessings

The inside of the house never flooded with water...  even when the wall was busted thru...  we were IN water, yes, submerged partially even...  But the interior of the house never got wet...  It never disrupted our 'sanctuary'...

Thank you for the link!  I'll check it out!  And thank you, also, for your interpretations!!

Love and Happiness!

If you were submerged partly then emotions rose... but obviously not in a way to worry about
