So I had this dream a few nights ago and it stood out as weird, like most dreams I guess. One of those adventurous ones which most of is just a vague swirl. What I remember is Wheel type elevator thingy. The compartment to sit in like a ride at a theme park where you sit in it and there is enough space for a few people to sit but to but and a lid closes and makes it aerodynamic. It ran on a track like a theme park ride that was oval shaped.

I got in a rode down. I was in an upper land surrounded by tree and a few people I knows house. I rode it down and it moved on a track and it kept the same angle relative to the track. When it got to the bottom it kept going as I had forgot to press a button for the level to get off, so it just went back around and took me back up. But as it kept the same angle when it went back up it turned up side down and I had also forgot to put on a belt or close the lid so I had to hold on with my body hanging out till I got to the top. I was not bothered or scarred by this as I am used to flying in dreams so height or falling are hardly fears.

When I got back to the top I decided instead of getting back in and pushing the button to get off on the lower level to fly around. There was beautiful forestry and wood buildings around so it seemed an appealing thing to do. As I flew I saw some nice wood buildings built in a community style so people can congregate and have space for various activities so I flew over. I saw mostly natives there. As I got closer I saw among many natives someone I know who I heard has recently passed away. I went to see them and when I got there I saw first the guy who had told me of their passing, and he was excited to see me and went to get the guy who passed.

They are two natives who I would see from time to time in Vancouver and who played music and loved me drumming to their music. But I was always busy and never got to work on music much with them which they would have loved.

In the dream the idea came up of a room behind where I was standing and in front of them which needs cleaning.It also came up as something that the guy passed needs to clean and I offered to help. So we went off into the room to do so. Which turns out to be much smaller then it appeared, or I only saw one of many rooms needing cleaning.

When it was opened I decided it needs to air out before we can see clearly how to go about cleaning. I thought that smoking pot is a good relaxing pass time and someone shows up with some pot and thanks me for the idea, and I respond with gladness that things pop  up in dream as they are thought up.

As the bowl of weed is passed around it gets to me and my lighter does not work. I had in real life picked up a lighter on the side of the road that day which was pretty much out of fuel but could just light, so I decided to can it, but ended up leaving it in my pocket. In my dream I get to thinking that I had pulled the dieing lighter out and that is why it does not work. Someone hands me their lighter to use and it does not work either, and then I woke up.

I thought of a couple of possible symbolisms for the theme park ride ... it goes around in a circle, so maybe this could reprsent the passage of time? Like the earth revolves, you are awake for a while, then go to sleep, underground so to speak, then re-emerge again? It could also represent maybe life or death, life above ground, death below ground? So when you fly away, you leave the passage of time behind, and also leave the barrier of life/death behind?  So maybe that is why you are able to see the friend who passed, and also why you are able to play with the band you hadn't had time to play with, becasue life/death/time are no longer barriers when you fly away?  

Hmm interesting. I've heard that with an open third eye one can communicated with the disembodied. I have done a lot of thrid eye work and have when consciously choosing to felt communication between the guy who passed. We didn't actually play music in the dream, but they were excited to see me as if the possibility still existed.

The lower area where the elevator stopped was also land. I was also thinking of the lower as a realm of death maybe.

Also the guy who passed wrote song called we are all one basically carrying a message about us all being one regardless of superficial differences, and they were amongst a group of like ethnicity and only two in the group who embraced mt presence I guess. I out to clarify that I am of Irish descent.

Also getting in the elevator was one of those unconscious actions. Like programming. It was just something that is done. Then after I couldn't find a good reason why I got in the elevator other then the fact that it was there. A similar programming to what a lot of people have about death. An unconscious pull that it is just something you do.
