No, dreams talk more about what is going on inside than what you are doing on the outside.  Thoughts, feelings, emotions.  A lot of the stuff we choose not to do.

Its about the temptation, not telling you what will happen.  What happens is up to you.

Two things that strikes me is the whole bathroom and being attacked.    Bathroom usually represnts the "mind body and spirit" aspect and the "being attacked" is the moral/ethnic principles that's you feel is being compromised.

What is interesting is that it isn't his dream, but yours, so in retrospect, you may feel he should feel his own moral/ethnic principles are being compromised.  I read that you say he is married, so to me it makes some kind of sense, maybe you feel he shouldn't be having this closeness to you because he's married?  And yourself being in the bathroom you're washing away the old ideals or refreshing your own inner harmony with this friendship.  

Another thing after rereading it to see if I've missed anything,there was two.

One was the playfulness of you both, I hope I don't offend you by saying there is a childish aspect of this which seems to me, that it maybe just a crush.  Like I said, I do not want to offend or sound patronising, I'm just wondering about the playfulness.  I'm sure other people have different meaning to this, so don't take what I said to heart if you feel it's bu**shit.

Two, the gremlin like creature, you say it's keeping you both apart, that gremlin represents his fear.  His fear won't let you both to be together.
