I had a dream about a week ago that's really making me think.

In the dream I had a drunken night with a friend of mine.  A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant.  He was excited to my surprise when I told him and we decided to get married.  We ended up eloping in Vegas.

I interpreted the dream to be about new beginnings.  I'm now unsure if that was accurate after being fired from my job on Monday.  I do know that when I woke up I questioned if I had "daydreamed" this or if I was in fact a sleep when I had it.  Then I reminded myself that I don't have a real desire to have kids so daydreaming about that would be kind of ridiculous.

Does anyone else think I was correct in my original interpretation and that I am just over analyzing now?  Is there something I might be missing?

Hey Songstress

First of all, sorry to hear you lost your job.  I am sure you will pick something else up though.  You're awesome.

The dream could have been a projection of the possible consequences of one drunken night.  Illustrating both the consequences, as well as the potentials, basically stating that if that were to happen, it may not be the end of the world either.  Have you had drunken nights to the point that you have lost control of yourself lately, with the potential to unconsciously break your celibacy?

I would say that if it is addressing new beginning it may be a beginning in your friendship with this friend.  Perhaps new found 'fun' feelings (getting married in Vegas).  I don't see any pointers towards your career, unless the friend is through work.  That said at the same time, is the death of your job not a new beginning as well?  Death in its cycle is the step before birth.

Any thoughts?

Sweet dreams,
Rook

I have been drinking more often lately, but I haven't been drinking to the point of losing control.  I've just been having a few drinks here and there.  The friend is not through work.  It's actually the person we have spoken of before.  Yes, losing my job is a new beginning.  So I'm not sure if this incident is what the dream was pointing towards.

Thanks for thinking I'm awesome.  I'm sure I will find something fairly quickly.  I hope.  I've actually considered requesting a reading to get more insight on my current life situation.

Which friend?  Wes, J or C?

If its Wes then could it be your subconscious suggesting ways of achieving your desire?

Wes, and I am really not sure.  I'm not sure I would want to take the route in my dream.  I would rather get the end result with a little more morals lol.
