I dreamt that I was in military boot camp and we were near completion... all that was left was a 20 mile run or marathon. I seemed to have done this before or somehow knew what to expect during the run, as I was telling the others that the instructors or drill sargeants would be asking questions (testing our knowledge) and we had to answer correctly. Thats all I can remember.

I assume that this is perhaps pertaining to a life test or training? But I don't know in relation to what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In the dream you said that you were telling others what to expect, so maybe it represents life test you have been through already, but you want to pass your knowledge along to someone who is going through it now?

ITs funny I have always been able to control my dreams and it all seems so real. I dream in color. Does anyone else dream like that? Very lucid

Hi Bengara, yes people do, I have only had about 8 ultra lucid but I often dream vividly and in colour too, and I still remember the bright scenes etc.

Hello Cafemex, have you put a massive amount of maybe voluntary effort into something, longitudinally, and then like Inner Sanctum has said about passing knowledge onto someone new with it.

I feel that you are proud to a certain degree of the effort and the way you went about it over time, and perhaps you announced that you might let someone else have a go, then this kind of what seems like a brash, and not very deep, possibly spontaneous type of person gets prompted to take over.  Then you feel immediately kind of hurt and kind of stunned that others are quite accepting of any flounderings on that person's part, and they seem to like them as well. When you go to hand over some insight and suggestions they don't seem to take it on board much and worse still there different approach seems to work well in some way. They seem to have taken it in their stride, but probably will miss some of the details.

I don't think you can take all that to heart, it's like possibly when people put up a bravado when they are unsure how things will go and they try to take the bull by the horns and look kind of dab at it - that goes for the others involved as well as the newbie.  I think if you only knew, you are deeply admired and almost indispensable because you do pay attention to the little things that sort of exemplifies a 'duty of care' that you seem to take on when you are responsible for something.

So yes, I don't know if that is relatable, but as I said, I would agree with Inner Sanctum's summation of what is going on, as a basic.

The military - deals with conflict in an aggressive / destructive way, through 'fighting'.

You are developing your ability to deal with this kind of conflict.  Have you been down this path before, perhaps a few times?  Not necessarily phyical fighting, but dealing with open conflict?  You have almost 'perfected' this.  All thats left to do is 'run the marathon', perhaps 'exercising' your abilities, and testing your 'knowledge' on how to deal with conflict.  You want to also help others learn how to deal with open conflict?

Does that mean anything to you?
