I am not sure about Astral Catalepsy, having not experienced it.  I look more at dreams not in the astral sense but in the sense of a communication between our conscious and unconscious, an inner reflection of our outer life.

I will attempt to interpret this as a dream, but the conclusions to be made are all yours.

The dark spirit could potentially represent the 'shadow', an aspect of yourself that you deny or repress, you refuse to acknowledge.  This is re-inforced to me by your need to shield yourself from it.  Whether or not the character is an external entity or not may be critical to the experience however.

The left ear could be critical.  Usually left is the side of emotion / intuition.  The inner-feminine.  You may sense this shadow aspect in your emotions, but it is 'heard' and not 'seen'.

The shadow character then takes your daughters dolly, but you speak as if this is a recurring theme, about taking away the daughters toys / belongings.  I could see this with two meanings, one of which you might not like the suggestion of, but here goes.

First interpretation:  This dark aspect of yourself is taking away your daughters toys.  The daughters toys could be represented as the daughters 'play time'.  I would like to also take into account the second dream where the little girl is facing away from you in a stink of a mood and will not speak to you.  Are you currently in your life struggling to find the time to communicate and have fun with your children (a struggle I am personally all too familiar with)?  You are in a tall tower above the child.  Could it be that you are above such games?  Or have duties that are a higher priority than this?  The song 'Soldier of the Light' I am not familiar with at all, but as a one-liner, would you describe yourself as a 'Soldier of the Light' and could this aspect of yourself be interfering with how you interact with your daughter?

The second interpretation is that the daughter is a reflection of your own inner child.  Is your 'Soldier of the Light' status (if you have one) keeping you from being fun at heart?  Or perhaps you are too high and mighty in your tower to come down to the more childish 'homely' level?

This is how I see these images, though I have been mistaken more than once.  Only you can figure out the true message from your dreams, but this is my guidance.  What are your thoughts?
