My step dads a statistician and surprise surprise his dreams usually involve solving math problems. It could just be your subconscious resolving whats on your mind.

Also different numbers can have different meanings, and what that numbers are a productive of can be what the number meanings are related to.

I am a knitter and I sometimes resolve a pattern when I am sleeping.  It is rather restful when the solution comes.
