My friend and I have been discussing dreams lately and she has told me about four different dreams in which her or one or all of her friends were pregnant. In one particular instance she was on her way to a friends house and as she opened the door it was a large room with couches and pillows everywhere and one the couches were every single one of here female friends. They were all like nine months pregnant. My friend said she was freaked out and turned toward me in the dream. In the dream I told her that "it was in the water". She looked at her hand and inside she held a water bottled. Freaked, she threw it down and that dream was over. A lot of here dreams lately have been about pregnancy.

It makes me wonder if her dream is simply reviewing what she is worried about or if perhaps the dream is revealing something more.

Do you think it is possible for dreams to be sending a message of the future? I am just wondering why she would have such strong dreams about this issue if it is nothing more than worrying.

With due respect at your age, I feel that this dream could be a timely warning about the advisability and wisdom of you practising safe sex as a form of contraception as well as for other reasons (STDs, AIDS, Hepatitis etc), rather than being regarded as necessarily predicting a future where you and all of your friends will become pregnant at much the same time.

Your dream reminded me of the "old wive's tales" about a woman becoming pregnant from sitting on a unisex toilet seat or drinking water from the same glass as a man.

The point to the dream is that I believe you know the facts of life all too well, and it is definitely not in the water as a means by which you or any of your friends could potentially become pregnant.

There are for certain several alternative interpretations I could offer you to try to explain why you should have a series of these dreams, but to be honest based upon my experience as a reader, I sense that this is more than likely the correct one in your case.

Please do not read any what you feel are hidden meanings into my interpretation (and feel appropriately offended), which suggests in your mind that I am advising you to be anything but more careful with your own sexual health (or that I think you are too easy and often sleep around).
