| Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina (October 24, 1891 – May 30, 1961) ruled the Dominican Republic from 1930 until his assassination in 1961. Officially, he was president only from 1930 to 1938 and again from 1942 to 1952, ruling for the rest of the time as an unelected military Dictator. |

As General Trujillo was assassinated in 1961 and you are seeing him in your dream now, it is perfectly understandable that you might assume that the dream represents actual scenes from one of your past lives lived in the Dominican Republic pre 1961.
To answer your question yes it is quite possible for dreams to offer us glimpses of genuine past life experiences, (I have had this happen to me many times) but in your case I feel that the General is only a symbol representing someone from your waking life who has power over you, and is grossly abusing that power to make you into his powerless and helpless victim.
Now this is consistent with your dreams of being molested and raped, keeping in mind that you were molested in real life. Rape is not about lust or sex but is more the act of a man (or in Japan evidently there are women rapists) who is using physical force to show their utter contempt and hatred for the opposite sex by doing the very same thing as the General in your dreams stands in place of.
It is evidently important during the act of sexual violation for the victim to beg for mercy, for the rapist to get the full psychological satisfaction he craves for from exerting this degree of power over someone who is generally weaker than himself. He draws strength from the fear of his victims?
In the context of your dream I would interpret recurring dreams of being raped, neither as scenes from a past life spent in the Dominican Republic before 1961 or alternately as a premonition of the future. I believe that it represents your own feelings of anger about having been molested several times earlier in your current lifetime, which are now resurfacing from deeper layers of your unconscious mind while you are asleep.
Fortunately you do not have to be molested and/or raped ever again in your waking life, in order to psychologically come to terms with the negative consequences of what happened to you when your trust in adults as a child or teenager was so cruelly betrayed.
Due to their superior size and greater physical strength victims really did not ever have a chance to resist this, and it is therefore never their fault. Our dreams act rather like an inner dream therapist, allowing us to re-experience the horrors of our pasts and our fears for the future, but in a completely safe environment where no actual harm can come to us.
But the psychological adjustment process cannot tell the difference between the real experience while awake and the inner experience while dreaming. So it is a way that our minds sometimes gradually heal themselves without requiring any outside intervention from a doctor or psychologist in the real world.
That having been said, in many cases it is found to be by itself not good enough to be able to bring about a full healing to the victim of rape and molestation, and most will need a combination of both this type of therapeutic dream as well as a qualified doctor or psychologist to finally remove most of the feelings of guilt and shame that victims of such attacks often carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Do you currently find yourself in a situation with one or more person's where although you are no longer being physically molested, you do feel completely powerless to resist another person's selfish treatment of you in their own best interests and never yours?
This may be causing these painful memories of being a victim while being molested to resurface and be expressed as dream symbols, including that of General Trujillo who was a cruel dictator who violated the trust of the entire Dominican population, instead of just one individual as is usually true when someone is molested or raped.
Dreams within which we suddenly become aware that we are dreaming are lucid ones. This does not mean that they are necessarily anything to do with what has happened or is to happen in our future, but it often feels that way when the dream seems more real than our waking existence. Such lucid dreams are believed to come from deeper layers of our unconscious mind that are involved with our soul purpose for being alive on Earth at this time. Some have called the contents of these deeper layers our core or altenately Higher Self. Definitely worth taking careful notice of any messages coming from this region of your mind?
Does this all help to make the intended healing purpose of this type of dream any clearer to you? If you can only recognise that the General and the people who are raping you only in your dreams are a product of your dreaming mind which are there to try to help you through this instead of being actual past life experiences or premonitions of the future, then you will have a much better idea as to why you are continuing to have them at all.
