What we dream is unique to each individual but we also have to look at the symbols within the dream these are considered as universal to everyone, they have been inherited and are not learnt, these can be analysed to help the dreamer understand more about what is currently happening within their waking lives.
For example Dreaming about a house is considered as that persons own self/psyche and the rooms within it relate to their different personalities. I have used the knowledge of those symbols to analyse many a dream, but I also use my psychic ability to give me a fuller picture of what is going on in the dreamers unconcious at that time. To see a finger pointing at you can show self blame or guilt and the fear of being exposed because of it. Lack of c onfidence in your own ability could be the key here. If it is a fore finger used then it is trying to make a point and can relate to judgement, authority and direction

Legs relate to how we progress through life and our ability to get there on our own merit, any problems with our legs will hinder our progress.

So my interpretation is that it may relate to an area in your life where you feel you are unable to make any headway, maybe feeling that others are taking the initiative. The finger pointing at your leg could be telling you that you have the ability yourself to get where you want to go, move forward and you will progress once more.
Then again I may have got it wrong, you will have to look at your waking life around the time of the dream to see what it could relate to. Ellie XXX

I am differentiating here between on one hand the practice of over analyzing the exact type of dream it is, and on the other analyzing or interpreting it's content in order to better understand oneself, or to open a window on one's soul nature.
