What the dream is saying to me is that you are wanting this step to happen, but you are looking for it to happen outside of yourself. You are perhaps waiting for a friend to say "This is when he will move in." But of course, when you look at the calendar to see when it will happen, you can not see it... This would be because you are not making it happen, you are wainting for it to happen. The picture in the calendar is possibly referring to the central issues regarding this happening (or not happening).
It sounds like it could be a bit of a spiral. He does not want to move in due to these central issues. Your reaction to this is anger and frustration. Now you can't help that, it is simply how you feel. How you respond to that is what counts. If you want to make this happen you need to take action, rather than waiting for someone else (your bf's friend) to make things happen. A phrase from my horoscope which I often repeat to myself is "Be the lightning!" (as for me a big issue in my life has been letting things happen and not taking action myself - which has resulted in several missed oppurtunities.)
It sounds like to get him to move in YOU need to set a date (some goals). First of all, you need to formulate a plan/routine to get the house into a 'visitor friendly' state and be able to maintain it (remember that when he does move in one would expect that he will be able to help with this from then on), and to keep working on your cooking. Practise makes perfect (and remember, the key ingredient is love - prepare the meal the way you would expect him to make it for you on valentines day). ;)
If you do this it should have a positive effect.
Best of luck,
Rook
