Learning how to interpret my own dreams...and possibly others.

I would like to learn how to interpret my own and others' dreams. I know that interpreting your own dreams is much easier than others' because of the way that a person recognizes their own dream-signs much better than any others, obviously. But I would still love to learn.

If anyone has any tips on how I can first learn to interpret my own dreams for what they mean to me, my soul/sub-c and/or to the grand design/universe/religiously or otherwise, and then learn to interpret others dreams the same way I am SERIOUSLY interested.

If anyone is willing to teach me one-on-one.....I would be beyond grateful to them.

Thanx in advance to anyone who is willing to help.

Firstly could I suggest that you should use the link provided below?

http://www.mysticboard.com/basics-of-dream-interpretation/

Secondly while there are many books on dream interpretation and websites devoted to helping you to either interpret your own dreams as well as helping other people to interpret their's, these are highly generalised and may therefore not be relevant or helpful to everybody. Therefore use them only as a general guide to the commonly accepted meanings for each individual dream symbol, and gradually compile your own personal dream dictionary on the basis of the meanings your own dreaming mind associates with each symbol instead.

What a particular symbol means to your dreaming mind, may or may not be exactly what it means to someone else's?

Get as much practice as you can in interpreting your dreams through keeping a dream journal or diary handy beside your bed so that you can jot down any memories or feelings associated with the dreams you had that night, and begin looking for a pattern.

You are quite welcome to try your hand at helping others to interpret their dreams on this forum, and we would appreciate your input as I do not think it is healthy if a person relies solely on the same one to interpret their dreams time after time. You may be able to see something completely different in the same symbol, or have a fresh new viewpoint to contribute to the discussion.

While none of us have any special qualifications which would make us necessarily more effective at interpreting dreams than you are, could I with humility suggest that you might like to read through the interpretations that others give as an example of how it can be done?

One common trap is to try to interpret dreams exactly as another person on this forum does. While we might see this as a great personal compliment to our abilities as dream interpreters, my advice is to be true only to yourself and to gradually develop your own unique way of doing this type of work.

In my case doing dream interpretations soon lead on to giving actual readings, as in many ways the two processes are extremely similar. This however may not necessarily be true in your case.

You decide!

Cheers my friend,
