I have never used printed dream dictionaries (either those written by Betty Bethards or anybody else for that matter)
as a guide or basis for my intuitive interpretations of other people's dreams over the internet.
If I do decide to consult someone else's general dream dictionary (and I do not always do this) then I much prefer an online one. These are much more regularly updated than the book versions, and often looking at a wide range of available sites gives me a much more accurate generalised picture than if I continued to consult only one book or site.

| One of her teachings was that most of the time, the other people in your dream are you. Maybe sides of yourself that you're becoming aware of, have ignored for a while, or that you're using right now. |
I completely agree with Betty that with reference to some people's dreams in some situations, this teaching is very likely to be true. But in so many other situations rigidly holding on to the belief that other people in our dreams must
always represent hidden aspects of ourselves could potentially prevent you from being able to recognise the unique meaning that this person's dreaming mind associates with other people appearing in such a dream.
Also, other people could mean something quite different in one dream when compared to what they mean when they appear in any other (when dreamed by the same person).
