Hallo, Wish!
Have you tried using the method I usually follow, asking and answering questions about the different aspects of the dream? Since this fragment is quite short, it should be quite easy to do. Just try to write down your own definitions and then read them (only the answers, not the questions), and see how they could apply to your present situation. Ready to have a go?
Describe your son, the one who appeared in the dream, if you have more than one. How did you feel while talking to him in the dream?
Describe the hall. What do you use it for? How do you feel in it both in the dream and in waking life? what could it stand for?
What is a foot? Why would your son lose one? why do you think it was the left one? how did he take it? how did you feel about it? Describe the prothesis: how it looked, its uses, how it made you feel to see it.
What are crutches? when do you feel they are needed? Since they seem faded, are they really needed or not? what could be acting as a crutch for your son? does he want it? would you want him to use it? how do you feel about all this?
I remind you that you do not have to post all your answers here, specially if you find yourself touching on personal issues. This exercise is only so that you can see how most answers are inside you already.
Best of luck, Wish!
