This dream happened a couple of years ago and I thought I would share it.  It is one of many that has left a huge impact on my life.

I dreamed I was getting very hot...I looked around and I was in a desert. I looked down and there was hot sand burning my feet. For as far as I could see, there was nothing but desert.  However, there was a small wooden path that was winding through the whole desert.  Far off into the distance I could see what looked like a bandstand or some type of stage at the end of the path.

Something is pulling me to walk the path away from the bandstand. As I walk I begin to see my dogs, (I had 4 at the time) in various places in the sand. All spread out, away from the path. They were all crying and wimpering because the sand was so hot. I knew immediately I had to get them or they would die. So I run frantically through the hot sand to gather them up. The sand all the while was burning me like crazy.

By the time I reach the first he is unconcious and lifeless...I throw him over my shoulder in a panic and trying and reach the others.  As I run, I keep passing snakes in the sand.  I am able to gather them, all lifeless over my shoulder.  I begin a frantic run to the band stand, knowing there was safety there.

I reach the bandstand and lay my dogs down.

All of my dogs were dead. Then I awoke.

For about a week it was weird because the feeling of that dream made me feel ill. It was as if I was greiving the loss of my dogs, even though in reality, they were alive and well.

7 days after my dream, I come home after picking my daughter up from school and open the front door.
The entire house was engulfed in flames. We tried frantically to save our dogs, both of us getting burned in the process. In the fire, I remember my hands and feet burning as I crawled along the floor to save them.

We lost all four of our dogs that day in the house fire....one week after my dream.

That is chokingly sad. It must have been truly awful. I cry for years after having to put to sleep one dog who is elderly and very sick and in pain. But to lose all four of them at once so suddenly must be the most crushing blow.

Your dream I can relate to because precognitive dreams are fairly common in my family, specially those preparing us for the deaths of our loved ones. I usually find that, by the time someone near me dies, I have already done all my crying in advance.

Thank you for sharing this incredible experience with us. So sorry it all happened like that

Thats exactly what happens, the dreams are sooo real....you grieve in advance and are somehow prepared for the blow.

Yes, losing my dogs like that....was devastating...no other word to describe it.   :(
