I dreamed I was talking to a guy I have been talking to recently on the phone. He kept saying I love you. At first I would ignore it and change the subject. He would keep at it till finally I was like no. It went back and forth like this.

In real life he has never said this. What could this be all about?

You dreamt that he kept saying that he loved you, but up until a certain point you ignored this and constantly tried to change the subject.

Sorry but I cannot understand what you meant when you wrote he would keep at it till finally I was like no.

Do you mean that you finally said that he really did not love you (he did not mean what he was saying up until then), or perhaps that you did not love him in return, so he should sod off?

It sounds to me on the surface that your instincts might be trying to tell you through your dream that what this man says he does (loves you) and what he really feels towards you may be quite different from each other. You may feel suspicious and very insecure in believing that he is only saying this, and does not really mean it?

Please explain what you intended to say in more detail, as well as providing some feedback with regards to my suggestions as to what this dream could possibly mean.

I just meant he keep saying it till I finally acknowledged it. lol.

It was like he was saying for my reaction. He just kept repeating till I had to say something back and all I said was no. I know if he loves me but I guess I can see where see me not believing what he says.

Perhaps it is your unwillingness to believe that you are loveable and quite a nice person to get to know in spite of what you may see as being your failures that makes it necessary for him to repeat this over and over, until finally it sinks in.

This suggests to me that during your earlier years somebody else who was significant in your life somehow convinced you that nobody would want you for some reason only known to them, and this dream is telling you that no matter how many times someone tells you that he loves you, unless you can learn to gradually accept within yourself that you deserve the greatest reward which life can offer you as much as the next person does (a lasting and deep love), then nothing of a positive nature which anybody says is probably going to get through to you.
