hi can anyone tell me what means dreaming of my cat falling from the balconies ( which he has already fallen twice) and i go searching him to see if he is dead. the scneary is always changing sometimes it's on my real house others i think is a mix of houses. the dreams are so real that when i wake up i have to go see if the cat is on the room!

Can I please get this perfectly clear in my own mind whether or not your cat has already fallen twice from the balcony in the real world, or was it only in your dreams?

They do say that a cat has 9 lives (they do have an uncanny ability to fall from great heights and land safely on their feet), but either way according to my calculations, your cat still has 7 to go.

If the cat has already fallen from the balcony in the real world, then these dreams could be seen as a sign of your understandable fears that unless you do something to reduce the chances of this ever happening again, it very well could.

Honestly if I were the cat's owner, I would not like to depend entirely on the belief that my cat still has 7 lives up his sleeve so to speak.

If the two falls were however confined to your dreams, this will require an entirely new interpretation to be determined.

Perhaps you yourself have landed on your feet up until now when you did something unnecessarily risky, but the dreams are telling you not to continue to push your luck.

no no! the falls where real! but the cat was younger at the time now he will die if he falls again cause he is too old :\

While it was mainly intended to refer to human beings rather than cats, I have repeatedly heard that it is believed that if we fall in a dream and hit the bottom, then we will also soon die in our waking life.

Since I have fallen myself many times in dreams and have definitely hit rock bottom with a sickening thud (or was it a splat), I would put as much faith in this belief as I would in the case that these dreams necessarily mean that your pet will die in the same manner.

Without panicking unnecessarily and losing too much sleep over it, use whatever sensible precautions you are able to, in order to greatly reduce to chances that your cat will ever fall off the balcony again in real life.
