I dreamt that i swam in icy icy cold water and still i can't find a logic interpretation for this. I really enjoyed the water and couldn't get enough of it. Any ideas?

Water is often associated with your current (no pun intended) emotional state in a dream.

Although diving into icy cold water sounds on the surface to be a rather extreme exercise in self masochism, it can also be a refreshing and positively exhilarating experience as well.

It all depends on whether you gradually get into the ice water and give yourself and your body enough time to adapt to the initial shock, or whether you just dive in and take your chances that way.

Strangely, sometimes it is the better strategy to just dive into the icy waters (representing current emotional issues you are being forced to deal with), then learn to deal with the consequences once you are already in it. By continuing to be overcautious and only getting one toe wet at a time, you may unintentionally be making this process infinitely more difficult for yourself, than it otherwise might have been. You may only be delaying the inevitable?

Since we do not know whether you simply dived in or did it only very gradually (as you were already in the water in your dream), it is therefore difficult for me to say which of the two very different approaches you should choose in attempting to deal with your present emotional issues in your waking life.

Water is a symbol representing the subconscious, emotion and most importantly, The Holy Spirit. Seen as the Spirit, it would simply refer to your spiritual thinking. Warm water is of God while cold water represents spiritual thinking reflecting a negative god, Satan. (God is Love, love is warm, thus warm water = God)

As swimming might be considered a recreational activity, the scene may imply a very negative use of your consciousness. This can be referring to a use of imagination that is negative rather than positive in nature (because the water is cold).

Seen as simply representing emotion, the scene may be showing an enjoyment of a cold emotional situation, one very lacking in love. The emotional situation is one that would leave most people “cold”, or unenthusiastic about it.

The scene can also be showing an enjoyment of very negative spiritual thinking – thinking that does not reflect God’s. The negative aspect of the spiritual situation or spiritual thinking is really emphasized here by the term “icy water” and confirmed by the double repetition of the word .(icy icy water)

As you mentioned in your post, “I can’t find a logical explanation for this”. The scene and its possibly meanings may really require you to find “a logical explanation” for this behaviour. Would you, if wide awake and fully aware of what you are doing, enjoy the type of situation shown by the dream?
