My father passed on last month and though i cope with death well because of my spiritual views and experiances my best friend died over a year ago and i have lost a brother a niece and serveral grandparents and friends this is the hardest thing i have ever had to cope with.

I dreamt last night of my father i was down below in his house with my friend Alex and he was sitting in his grey recliner it was so real so vivid i remember telling him that i wish he wasnt gone and that he is my hero and how i aspire to be like him everyday and as i cried and hugged him he sat there and smiled at me reasuringly always like my father just letting me hug him and cry on his shoulder knowing nothing needs to be said.
I feel like this might have been his way of telling me hes ok and that he is still here for me when i need someone to hold onto along with letting me tell him the things i wish i would have while he was still living.

If anyone would like to interprate this dream its fine but i thought i would just share my experiance.

First let me say I am so sorry for your loss.. And the past year sounds like it has been a nightmare that's not ending for you. I am sorry, it's a lot on ones plate in such a short time frame.

When I read your posting, I immediately got those goosebumps running up my spine and down my arms and I still have them. I think you are right, your dad was letting you know he's ok and he's there for you, like he was the other night.

Big hugs to you, my friend. With every storm the sun will continue to shine. We just have to wait patiently for the clouds to pass. The sun will shine again.
