So I dream this strange and vivid dream. It has been a few years since. 7 to be exact. So forgive me but I cannot explain in full detail I can only tell you at the time it terrified me.
I started out trying to save someone from death. What ever was after the person I was saving I could not see. We were being chased by this unseen thing and next thing I know I was in my room. Like changing the t.v. station. Lol! So I am in my room and I hear someone in the kitchen.( My bedroom door was right inside the kitchen area) I walked out the door and peeked into the kitchen only to see my brother eating something.
I walked up to the stove and I saw what looked to be tomatoe juice and maybe some kind of cheese boiling.(had a yellow color mixed in) I asked my brother, "What is this stuff?", he said "It's food for the demon." I was by then stiring the pot. I then realized it was not just juice and cheese but it had a solid content to. There were huge pieces of meat in the pot. Meat that was attached to bone and it had skin hanging off it. (The skin being what I thought was cheese of some sort.)
Well as you can imagine I freaked out. That wasn't all though the floor started to quake and the ground broke open. I was suddenly looking down into hell. My brother statred yelling for me to dump the pot. That was when a huge demon type creature rose from the flames. My brother kept saying,"It's after the pot. It's after the pot." I got back over to the stove some how and I grabbed the pot and I dumped it into hell. The demon went crazy and... That's when I awoke drenched with sweat. I was so scared I went straight for my bible and opened it. I wasn't looking for anything particular just wanted to be comforted.
What I found was uncanny. I had opened it up to EZEKIEL Page 574 in the New King James(Chapter 24 for others) I saw that chapter 24 was The Parable of the Boiling Pot. It speaks of God telling him to put on a pot and pour water into it; gather peices of meat to put in it. The best cuts from his best flocks. It goes on to say,
"Woe to the bloody city,
To the pot whose scum is in it,
and whose scum is not gone from it!
Bring it out peice by peice,
On which no lot has fallen.
for her blood is in her midst;
she set it on top of a rock
She did not pour it on the ground,
To cover it with dust.
That it may raise up fury and take vengeance,
I have set her blood on top of a rock,
That it may not be covered.
It goes on but this is what surprised me. I had never before heard of this parable in the bible until that day. Now I can not ever forget it. So what do you think it means?
Check out the whole story in the Bible and give me your insight. "Ezekiel chapter 24 The Parable of The Boiling Pot."

This dream as well as the one you posted where you are dreaming of Christ are both rich in biblical symbolism, meaning that you have obviously studied the Holy Bible in great detail, and still hold strong Christian beliefs, even if you no longer attend church (?).
Being a student of the bible you will already know that much of what is written there is in the form of parables - stories which mainly have a relevant meaning only to the particular culture and time period during which they were told which contain hidden spiritual truths which are represented by something everyday, which the person can more easily identify with and therefore be more likely to understand.
So for example the dream with the seven plagues and Christ is probably telling you that your faith in your religion is stronger than anything of a negative or frightening nature which life can throw at you. No matter how bad and hopeless things might look on the surface, your faith will always keep you safe from harm.
I am not so sure about the dream you are asking about here, but a fear of hell was often used not so long in the past (and to a certain extent is still used today by religious fundamentalists and sects) to convince sinners that not only were they in mortal danger of their souls being eternally damned, but that the only way to save themselves was to attend their church, as well as commit much if not all of their money and possessions to keeping it going.
The general idea is that they first claimed to own God, and to seek forgiveness from God and so save your soul, you must therefore regularly attend their church and totally accept their teachings without question (as they claimed that God could only be found within their church's four walls).
With due respect you sound to me to be someone who has experienced a fairly strict and conventional religious upbringing, but although you may no longer be a regular church goer, you obviously still have a strong form of faith which has grown well beyond what most people would regard as you being a religious person as such. You may have moved further away from your church in many ways in what you practise, but your faith in the basic goodness and decency of most people appears much stronger, almost as a direct result of having done so.
Spirituality, rather than religion?

Thank you Eye_of_Tiger,
You were right I do not go to church anymore. I was not however brought up in a strict religous enviroment. I was brought up in many different types of religion. Mostly Penecostal and Baptist. So I am now confused. Lol. These dreams was when I was 16 Years Old that was & yrs ago. Back then I was going through a tough time with family and other things. My twin brother was into meth really bad. There was many other factors there as well.
You are right about the more spiritual than religous though. Every church I have ever gone to says i must go to church to reach heaven. That is why I stopped going to church. I know deep down I am a good person. I have my sin just like everyone else but when it comes to my heart there is nothing but good intentions. So because of that I know that I will reach Heaven when it is my time.
Thank you again for taking the time to define these dreams for me though. You have been alot of help.
