I've been dreaming strange things, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Hi,
I need help. I usually have dreams I think are symbolic. I saw nice looking mountains from a distance and then out of the blue i see myself in front of a relatively high mountain full of green bushes but I feel trapped because there's very little space between me and the mountain and I woke up before I could see or find a way out of that place.
The other involves my old university campus but some places look very different. There's lot of students chatting in groups and lying on the campus lawns and eating whole fried fish(very odd!) and giving food to animals that can't be there in real life such as penguins, baby owls, little birds, baby ferrets who live in holes digged in the ground. It's getting dark and I feel very concerned that people can step on the little creatures and harm them because they are so cute. By the way I'm very fond of animals.
Please any hint would be appreciated. I've had very difficult times over the last two years. I know I'm depressed and used to have very disturbing nightmares that showed ugly and intimidating dark places and nasty situations I could't escape or control, but now I'm starting to dream of nicer, more illuminated places.

Hello Sofita,

I could not agree more with what you have just said. Your dreams are rich in positive symbolism and do strongly suggest to me that the worst is now effectively behind you.

A very positive and spiritually uplifting dream. IMO

Although many new challenges still lie before you on your path up to the top of the mountain (your life goals are at the summit) and these are getting closer by the day (which is why the mountain appears so close), you are now a much stronger person within yourself as a result of having experienced them. Universities are places of learning, just as life is a series of opportunities in order to learn the lessons we most need to more fully develop as both spiritual and human beings.

The cute little animals who live buried in the ground are possibly there simply to make the dream more pleasing to you (as your dreaming mind knows how fond you are of animals), or they could be symbols of aspects of your own personality that up until now have remained largely unexplored/buried, but which can now be revealed as possibly some of your greatest strengths in eventually sucessfully getting on top of your feelings of depression.

Having personally battled with chronic depression and anxiety myself for most of my nearly 55 years, I feel that I at least have some understanding of how sweet the taste of victory over these dark feelings must be for you. I therefore wish you both continuing good health on all levels, and increasingly happier times ahead.
