What does it indicate if one frequently dream of small babies- 1-2 year old?

The meaning of the dreams to you depends a great deal on your attitudes towards babies and whether or not you are currently within a relationship where becoming pregnant would be regarded as good news. Do you already have any existing children of your's? We would need many more details than this to be able to even hazard a guess.

Some dream experts would tell you that frequent dreams involving very young babies could be seen as predictions that you will at some time later become a mother yourself, although from what you have told us about the numbers of dreams you have had of this type over months or years, it sounds to me your dreaming mind is repeatedly trying to get a message across to you, and the young babies are only symbols representing something entirely different.

Babies in dreams can equally be thought of as representing the very beginnings of a a completely new phase of your life, rather than you literally bringing a new life into the world. People often call what they believe is a new goal or project which belongs only to them their "baby".

Thanks a lot for the interpretation. I am not married. I am a working woman. But still I always see dreams of children. Usually it is a 1 and half-2yr old child. I wonder why I am getting such recurrent dreams. That too of very beautiful angel like kids. It is always just one kid (not the same kid always) and I see myself fondling it. Im not able to make out its meaning.

In other words, whatever 1 - 2 year old babies means to your dreaming mind, which may or may not have anything at all with real babies), it is obviously experiencing problems in getting you to understand what messages it has to give you, or alternately you are not then applying these messages to your waking life.

As you do not appear to either understand or be able or willing to apply what the dreams are trying to teach you in your daily life, it will keep trying until you do. The only way I know to stop these recurring dreams is to co-operate more with your dreaming mind by keeping a regular and dated dream journal to look for any patterns which develop over weeks or months, so that you can hopefully get more clues as to exactly what these messages might be.
