Dreaming of me astral projecting, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Hey guys, Im really curious on this dream and am wondering if any of you can interpret this for me.

I don't remember every detail of my dream, but what I remember vividly was me in my room attempting to astral project. At first, I think I was meditating and I think I heard someone say to concentrate more on what you really want, and I did that, and the next thing I know I could feel that I am getting out of my body (This is a dream I had, Im not actually astral projecting). As I slowly start to lift off from my bed, there are like planets above my head and I happen to take a glance at them. Then I got really scared of this feeling and kept thinking "This is so scary, Im going to get out of this", and then I went back down. I started to concentrate on this and just kept thinking, "This is astral projecting", and then I kinda forced myself to concentrate again. Then there I go, lifting off again, and then seeing the planets again (Actually seeing the galaxy I think)...

Does this dream mean something? I was hoping I could actually astral project in real life rather than in a dream...

Young Fayte7523,

Many times our dreams mirror our desires. Could it be that you consciously or subconsciously want to astral travel. Much of the time if your desire is strong enough, you will make it happen ! The fear and realization you are out of body will bring your consciousness back to your body.
There are many good books available on the subject. Learn as much as possible so you are comfortable if you decide to do it.

Could I please add my own comments to what Master Po has already told you, with which I entirely agree?

It is well known by many students of the paranormal that one of the easier ways to have your very first Out of Body Experiences (also known as astral travelling) is from within your dreams. Imagine it as a valuable training ground for developing your skills in order to temporarily project your consciousness outside of your physical body.

Once you no longer fear doing this (fear often causes us to hold back or snap back into our bodies with a shock) and we get the hang of it, then we will be able to do it while in other states of consciousness, rather than only when we are asleep and dreaming.

In reality there is no reason to feel any fear of not being able to return to your body (although knowing this that does not stop us being afraid), as it is firmly attached by a "silver cord" which is supposed to attach the spirit body to our physical one while we are alive on the Earth plane. It is only at the time of our deaths that our silver cords are finally broken.

While we normally think of a cord as having a fixed and finite length, this one is effectively infinite and can stretch out to eternity. Which is probably a good thing if you wish to travel to other parts of the physical universe or other planes than this one, and hope to live to tell anyone else about it back on Earth, upon your return.
